"Los temas del cuerpo, la sexualidad y el género son explorados desde la interacción del lenguaje y la ipsis, término que define la propiedad del ser sobre sí mismo. [...] Dice Derrida: “el soberano, en el sentido más amplio del término, es aquel que tiene el derecho y la fuerza de ser reconocido como sí mismo, como lo mismo, propiamente, como lo mismo a sí mismo”. La propuesta de Ibarreche encaja con la referencia que hace el autor sobre el gran interrogante de lo viviente, donde ‘lo viviente’ se refiere no a aquellos que viven, sino a lo que, literalmente, ‘está vivo’.
En ‘Falso Ladrido’ este ser viviente, de género femenino, está expuesto a las fuerzas ocultas del lenguaje, donde el hechizo (hecho de puro lenguaje) puede irrumpir creando los lazos del amor y desamor. Se trata de mirar, no sin cierto temor, ese poder de invocación, el llamado a la atracción y atadura que se efectúa por medio del lenguaje, esa paradigmática acción de incorporación en el otro por medio de la palabra, que toca lo visceral al evocar sometimientos, amarres, poderes invisibles, ritual."

"Subjects such as the body, sexuality and gender are explored from the basis of an interaction with language and the concept of ipsis, which defines the property of the self. [...] According to Derrida: "The sovereign, in the broadest sense of the term, is he who has the right and strength to be and be recognized as himself, the same, properly the same as himself". Ibarreche's proposal fits in with the author's reference to the great question about the living, whereas "the living" does not refer to those who live, but to that which is, literally, alive.
In "Falso Ladrido" the living being, that seems to be a female, is exposed to the hidden forces of language, where the spell (made of pure language) can break in and create bonds of love and lovelessness. It is a matter of looking, not without a certain fear, into that power of invocation. A call to attraction and attachment is made effective through language, that paradigmatic act of embodiment of the other by means of the word, touching on the visceral as it evokes feelings, ties, invisible powers, ritual.
